Who we are
We focus on quality. Our environmental toxicology laboratory is one of the few in Switzerland certified for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and accredited under ISO/IEC 17025. We assist you in generating high-quality, reliable and robust test data for non-clinical safety studies, facilitating registration and approval processes.
What we do
We offer a thorough analysis of the potential toxic effects of your substances, along with their physico-chemical properties. Where we were active
Over the years, we have conducted numerous tests for clients across various industries in accordance with OECD guidelines, delivering essential data for regulatory purposes. Our work has provided valuable insights into the environmental impact of your products, their effects on aquatic ecosystems, and their physico-chemical properties.
Detecting pesticide emissions at production sites
- Developed a comprehensive investigation program to evaluate the treatability of pesticides.
- Systematically executed the research program.
- Tested 54 active substances across 83 commercially available plant protection products.
- Identified the most effective process combinations to reduce active ingredient concentrations and minimize environmental impact.
Ozonation of wastewater
- Sampling of wastewater at the sewage treatment plant
- Simulation of wastewater ozonation including biological post-treatment on a laboratory scale
- Chemical analysis and evaluation of wastewater samples regarding known problematic precursor substances and oxidation by-products of ozonation
- Conducting ecotoxicological biotests to identify unknown, toxic oxidation by-products
- Experimental assessment of the behavior of ozone in wastewater
- Determination of purification efficiency through ozonation based on marker substances in accordance with the UVEK Ordinance
